Massive Artisan Pottery Sale Nov 30 & Dec 1 at the South Surrey Rec Centre!

40+ local potters and artisans’ part of the Semiahmoo Potters Society will have their wares on sale November 30, 10 am – 5 pm & December 1st, 10 am – 4 pm for their annual Yuletide Sale at the Turnbull Gallery in the South Surrey Rec Centre. This Sale is the perfect opportunity to check off your Christmas list and fill those stockings with unique one-of-kind treasures!

Organizers estimate over 1500 people will visit the show and sale this weekend with lineups expected Saturday morning as people arrive early for the best selection. Give yourself a reminder by replying to their Facebook event here.

Annual Semiahmoo Potters Society Events

Every year the Semiahmoo Potters host two sales events at the South Surrey Recreation Centre including their Yuletide sale in November as well as their Spring Show & Sale in May. At both events, unique artisan creations by talented local makers are available for purchase with the sales commissions helping with membership fees, which typically cover the society’s rent and operating costs.

The Semiahmoo Potters Society was formed in 1994 by a group of local potters who after taking pottery classes together decided to continue to develop their craft, work together and share ideas.

25 years later the society is thriving at their pottery studio in the South Surrey Rec Centre with a dedicated group of members who are committed to their craft and to their mission which is to:

  • Foster, encourage and develop the art of pottery in the South Surrey and White Rock Communities
