The Wooden Spoon located in uptown White Rock is not only one of the best kid-friendly restaurants in town it’s straight-up one of the best restaurants in South Rock! Open daily for brunch they serve delicious food in a very modern, cool environment with a very downtown Vancouver vibe.

The Wooden Spoon menu is full of delicious eats from their legendary Spoon Burger to their epic Bennies and of course, offers a kids menu sure to satisfy even the pickiest eaters.

What really sets the Wooden Spoon apart and makes them one of the best kid-friendly restaurants in South Surrey & White Rock is their dedicated kids’ play area. Tucked in the back corner away from the diners is a children’s play oasis including a play kitchen, books, and other toys! If

Sal Y Limon located in Grandview Corners serves traditional Mexican cuisine in a fast-casual environment which is perfect for families. Their South Surrey location features a small children’s play area which keeps the children entertained while parents can sit back and relax.

The owners of Sal y Limon had a goal to create an environment where everyone felt welcome and could enjoy good food together and that is exactly what they have created in South Surrey. Having it set up as a fast-casual is perfect for parents who know sometimes you need to pull the shoot quickly and get out of there without wanting to chase the server down for the bill.

Enjoy their authentic Mexican flavours which come alive through their Mexican street fare inspired food including their tacos and burritos. An added bonus for parents is they are fully licensed so you can relax with a Mexican beer, margarita or creamy rumchata.

Serving up authentic Neopolitan pizza in Morgan Crossing, Famoso serves wood-fired pizzas with flavourful toppings including the latest pizza addition to their menu a New York Sicilian style thick crust pizza.

Famoso wins with kids as each kid gets their own pizza dough to play with while they are waiting for their food! They also have a dedicated kids menu and Italian Sodas.

One of Marine Drive’s longest standing restaurants, Uli’s has been run by a local family for over 30 years serving up a west coast bistro experience with an amazing view. They take great pride in sourcing high quality, local ingredients from neighbouring farms and local vendors.

Uli’s has one of the best views on the beach perfect for train-spotting from the patio. They also have a dedicated kids’ menu, high chairs, and changing table for families.

Recently Uli’s was named for having the best burger in Vancouver so definitely give their burger menu a try and if you happen to be looking for somewhere to go in late September / early October don’t miss their Oktoberfest celebration bringing German-inspired fare to the table along with Oktoberfest entertainment.

A South Surrey tradition since 1997, the Roadhouse serves up delicious home-style cooking, generous portions, and has some of the friendliest staff around who make everyone feel welcome! They have different themed rooms including my favourite a 50’s diner-inspired decor as well as their recently launched Copper Room – a jazz-inspired social lounge.

Kids love the Roadhouse’s secret treasure cave a whimsically designed tiny room that houses a secret treasure chest where each child can select a free toy. They also have a great kids menu including chocolate chip pancakes the size of the whole plate!

A perennial favorite for families thanks to their famous Pirate Paks which serve up kid-approved meals like their legendary burgers, chicken strips and healthier options in a pirate ship-shaped box.

White Spot has the kids market cornered with a fun, interactive booklet for every kid. We’re fortunate to have two White Spot locations in our community, one located near Semiahmoo Mall on 152nd and the other in the heart of Morgan Crossing.

Plus, throughout the year White Spot offers amazing adventure coupons with their pirate paks granting free admission to various kid-friendly attractions throughout the Lower Mainland!
